New House

Excuse the car in the driveway; but this is a picture of the outside of our new house...I need to get a better shot. You can also look at LamplightRealty and see a few other pics of the house. Our official move-in date is June 13th. We must be out of our house by 9am in the morning and cannot be into the new house until 11am...a little stressful, I must admit, but the Lord will help us get through it. We have 14 more days in this house...The week that we move, Abe is gone Sunday-Thursday afternoon and we have to pack up the truck Thursday when he gets home; talk about STRESS!!!! Craziness! Anyway, off my kick now...we'll get it done, I know we will...I just had a little stress session about 1/2 hour ago and completely went off on Abe; sorry Abe! Alright, so, our new address 105 Sixth St. Roanoke, 61561. Come see us!

Grant Turns ?

Grant celebrated his Birthday this past Friday and we had the pleasure of having them over to join in the celebration! Jil made this spectacular Grasshopper Pie--it was tastey! Jude, unfortunately slept through the entire party!

Do We Have to Move?

Jude looks thrilled to have all these boxes lying around the living room taking up his "play space". We did want to update:

  1. We had the radon inspection and it came back a "6" and anything above a "4" requires a "system"--$1000!

  2. We got permission to move things into our Roanoke garage anytime now :)

  3. We have to be out of our house directly after the closing on Friday June 13th.

  4. We had the home inspection at our Peoria house Friday and are waiting to hear results back.

Pat-A-Cake!

Jude had the opportunity to learn pat-a-cake this week! He hears us sing it to him all the time, but of course, when his Gree was here on Monday, he performed. Last night Grandma and Grandpa Schoppet were here and Jude had to show off his new skills! Grandpa Schoppet does it extra fast!!

Roanoke, Here we come!

Well, it's official! Abe will be the Head Varsity Basketball coach for the Roanoke Rockets beginning this fall. We are both very excited about the move and looking forward to the life that comes along with being a Varsity Coach (and coach's wife :) We hope to be moving to Roanoke June 13th (pending our home inspection this Friday--please pray). The Lord just continues to bless us and we praise him for these opportunities and adventures he has presented us with.

Sale Pending

Well; last week we brought you "House for Sale"...Last night at 8:30pm we received a phone call and a knock on the door that we had an offer on the house. Although it was a little lower than originally anticipated...the Lord has taught me over the past week (thoughout my anxiousness with selling the house) that it's not about money...So, with that said, we accepted the offer and the only thing we are waiting on now is the home inspection (which could lead to more $), so please pray that that will go well for us. Thanks so much! We'll keep everyone updated!

Peek-A-Boo

Where's Jude?
Op, there he is... He thought he was so sneaky hiding himself underneath this down blanket last night...I think he gets peek-a-boo now!

Jude Plays Ball

Jude stayed with his Gree and Grockey on Sunday night and apparently learned how to play ball...he can catch the ball (when rolled to him) and bounce/throw it back to you... His last name isn't Zeller for nothin' :)

Happy Mother's Day

This Mother's Day Weekend was most enjoyable... We started off the weekend with Race for the Cure....Saturday morning. We had the pleasure of thousands of women walking for a cure in front of our house. We sat out on our front porch while Jude waved those who passed by...We followed the race with a walk to Starbucks to meet Becky...Then went for pedicures and lunch with Aunt Carrie, Aunt Nancy, and Grandma...Follwed by a short shopping jaunt. Then more food from Double A's...great burgers. Jude had the giggles when Grandma and Aunt Carrie attacked Jude with tickling! Sunday we had Gree and Grockey over for church; breakfast and a fabulous lunch...(just kidding, I made it :) As well as Uncle Seth, Aunt Katie, Uncle Luke...cousins Cash and Boomer..Hope everyone had a great weekend and a great Mother's Day!

House for Sale

Okay; so most of you know we are selling our house and it was officially put on the market yesterday. I thought I would take a pic of the house to share...of course I had Jude with me, so I put him down in the front yard while I take the picture...No, he's not for sale :) Anyway, he enjoyed a few pieces of grass and a little bit of dirt while I was taking my pics.. Please continue to pray for a sale on our home. We had 3 showings tonight and so far, we have 3 for tomorrow. Thank you to all who are praying for us..

"It wasn't me"

Don't these two look like they've just got caught in the act or something? I think Jude is trying to pull on Caiden's pants in order to pull himself up. These two had fun playing together Friday night and Sunday morning in the nursery. Caiden hangs out in the "Crawlers Room" to hang with little Jude. Even though he could out-walk all of them!

Jude Rides Again

We finally got our riding mower back to working condition yesterday so Abe had to take it for a spin and of course, Jude was practically jumping out of my arms to get to the thing. Looks like Jude's got a new toy and Abe might have company from now on when mowing!

(check out Jude sporting his two new teeth)

Back to Being Jude

Well, today Jude was 11 months old...crazy and first day with no explosions in the pants! Yeah! He also got a visit from Grandma last night. She almost didn't catch him...the eyes were getting sleepy after a long walk..so we did a bath to pep him up a little bit...then came the bottle--sleepy eyes again...but then pulled up the ol' caravan. Automatically wide awake. There were books to be read; phones to talk on; crawling to show off with...After about 45 minutes the eyes were heavy and off to bed with no fuss he went.
