Blast from the Past

That's right, the ol' FisherPrice toys! Mom and Dad brought a few boxes full of F.P. toys over a few weeks ago and slowly we are revealing to Jude what toys were like in 1980! This here, is the Sesame Street Clubhouse; that's right...Bert and Ernie chillin' at the club! Jude thinks it's pretty sweet. As you can see Ernie has lost his hair :(

And then we have the old Stove/Sink and Fridge circa 1980 as well! I had envisioned it (before it came down from the attic) being real wood...no, that was my childhood imagination. It's particle board, but Jude loves it just the same.

Haircut Gone Bad & a Few Words from Jude

So, I decided to try my hand at haircutting again this weekend. It started off pretty good and then I kind of, couldn't stop...I kept thinking it needed a little more here and a little more there...The pictures really don't show how bad it actually is. The back is really pretty choppy. At least he doesn't look like a girl, I guess. He also wanted to share a few words with you all. For some reason; he doesn't want "Carrie" to come out! I feel your pain Car; took him 19 months to say "mama"! Unfortunately, the word "NO" has entered his vocabulary too..Nice!

We have ourselves a dishwasher!

Jude now has an interest in doing the dishes with us at night...Problem is, he doesn't want to stop!! He gets pretty intense and takes pride in his clean dishes! Oh, and by the way, he can now say "mama"!

Little Ham

Well, he wouldn't do the whole thing while on camera...but the other day, Jude started this "thing" where he laughs and then does a straight face and continues this repetitious cycle for about 5-10 minutes. I don't know whether daycare worked on Happy vs. Sad this week or what...but the kid is cracking me up!
